Video: How To Make a "Love Bird" Cocktail

Making a cocktail together is the ideal corona-safe date idea, simply video call each other and follow the recipe together. It’s interactive, you can laugh at each others mistakes, and you end up with a drink at the end. There’s no downside.

Mixologist and winner of “International Bartender of the year”, Martin Hudak presents the “Love Bird” cocktail. 

From his home in Sydney, he’s sharing with us his love-inspired creation, especially designed for our members.

Ingredients

  • Coconut sugar or any kind of brown sugar

  • 6 raspberries

  • ½ lime

  • Fresh pineapple juice

  • Italian bitter Campari

  • Dark rum

  • 1 cup of ice

Tools

  • Shaker

  • Glass

  • Small sieve

Love Bird cocktail recipe

  1. In your shaker, put 2 spoons of sugar. 

  2. Then drop 5 raspberries into the shaker.

  3. Squeeze your half lime in the shaker

  4. Add 30ml (1 ounce) of fresh pineapple juice

  5. Add 30ml (1 ounce) of Campari

  6. Add 30ml (1 ounce) of rum

  7. Add the ice to your shaker and close it

  8. Shake, shake, shake

  9. Taste a drop to make sure it’s well-balanced

  10. Strain it through your sieve into a glass

  11. Add a fresh raspberry on top, et voilà
